I will invite 20 of my friends to my home game tournament. Each player will start with $1000. How should the blind/ante structure be so that it will last 3 days (max 3 hours per day)?

I don't know how serious you want the tournament to be, but you don't get that many hands per hour in live play. So, you should make the blinds rise rapidly later to eliminate players. You might want there to be only about 10 big blinds in play at the end of the third day. Let the escalation of the blinds be by the clock.

If this is a friendly tournament, then perhaps you should let people rebuy on the first and second day. That works well in home games.
