Favourite pro player and why

Howard Lederer and Annie Duke. For keeping it mostly classy, for great televised commentary, for introducing wide swaths of players to the game.

Also Chris Ferguson. Great player, class act, and of course, he could probably kill you with one of this playing card/shuriken attacks if you started mouthing off to him.

Chris Fergusen - We have almost identical University qualifications in exactly the same area (AI- Comp Sci) and i just like his style.

Gus Hansen - For popularising a completely different style of play (LAG) at the time he hit the pro scene.

Phil Ivey.

When push comes to shove, he is better than any other player out there. There isn't a single person in the world (including anyone listed on this thread) who would play Ivey heads up (live...durrrr is crazy enough to do it online).

Daniel Negreanu for his amazing reads and his concomitant ability to make huge laydowns. He also seems like a decent bloke to boot.

But I gotta say, I enjoy watching Vanessa Rousso play. Can't really put my finger on why though...

Phil Laak cause you just know he's a f'ing genius

Phil Ivey - Because he is the top of the food chain when it comes to mastering each iteration of poker.

Tom Duan - Durrr - Because he takes recklessness abandon, slams his tablemates with a hefty helping of complete chaos, and turns this mixture into sweet, sweet profit. You gotta love watching this guy play.

Phil Laak - Because his antics just make Poker more entertaining.

Patrick Antonius - Because even Norman Chad finds this guy attractive, nevermind his mad skills.
